This Little Piglet
Noah is 7 months old. He weighs 17.7lbs and is over 28 inches tall which puts him in the 90th percentile for his length and head circumference. Walking outside is still his favorite activity. Rain or shine, warm or cold, we are out and about the neighborhood twice a day.
In the morning, we jog in the stroller
…and in the afternoon it’s Baby Bjorn time.
Noah is all about exploring these days. He gets around by rolling and trying to crawl.
Noah is getting a bit ticklish (or he pretends to be to amuse mom). Playing Little Piglet is a lot of fun these days.
Noah is all about tummy time, and even rolls onto his belly when he goes to sleep. Speaking of sleep, Noah’s been lasting 7-8 hrs per night without milk (some nights even up to 12hrs). Yippee! Dad is an especially happy camper as he no longer needs to stay up past midnight for his shift.
Another way Noah explores is with his mouth, so everything gets chewed on…
Noah, like his mama, has a very healthy appetite and, in addition to nursing, has been enjoying three solid meals per day. More on that in a later post.
Noah hit a big milestone a week ago – sitting. He still needs help getting into a seated position but afterwards he can last up to a minute before he tumbles over.
He sits even better when he is preoccupied with a toy in front of him.
We painted the city red (while all dressed in red) this weekend as we went out for dinner to celebrate Noah kicking off his 7th month.
Here’s to another month full of snuggles, smiles and giggles!
